LIfeguards honored for saving Casselton boy's life

Lifeguards who saved the life of a 5 year-old Casselton boy have been honored. Casselton pool staff noticed Ben Metzger floating upside down in the pool Wednesday afternoon.

Lifeguards who saved the life of a 5 year-old Casselton boy have been honored. Casselton pool staff noticed Ben Metzger floating upside down in the pool Wednesday afternoon. Their quick response in calling 9-1-1 and performing C-P-R was recognized by the Minn-Kota Chapter of the American Red Cross during ceremonies at the pool. Ben's mother, Lisa, says it was the scariest day of their lives. She says Ben will continue with swimming lessons at the Casselton pool next summer.
