We have a comment thread at the bottom of this post. If you've seen Peeps Oreos at any area stores, please let us know WHERE so others can give them a try!

Lydia on Ramp-Youtube

Thomas Mitchell couldn't stand to see Lydia struggle with her aluminum ramp every morning – so he built her a new one instead.

Tom is a mechanic working in Clarksville, Tennessee who is sometimes employed to be a substitute driver on the school buses he fixes.

One of the children who he picks up on is route is a young girl in a wheelchair named Lydia Despain. Lydia's mother Verna says that because her daughter suffers from a seizure disorder, she has developed differently than other children.

Lydia struggles with the stone steps in front of her house every morning. Though she has a ramp, it isn't long enough to reach the top step.

So Tom called Verna and offered to build a new ramp for their house on Sunday. She joyously accepted.

True to his word, Tom and some of his friends used lumber donated by the hardwood store to build a brand new wooden ramp on the side of the Despain's house.

"It's those little things that people take for granted," Verna told FOX5. "And maybe I didn't even realize my predicament, because I'm so used to doing it solo."

First-born children are smarter than their younger siblings, according to new research. Economists at the University of Edinburgh have waded into the age-old debate and concluded that first-borns have a higher IQ test score than their siblings as early as age one. Researchers said the findings could be explained by first-born children receiving more mental stimulation and support in developing thinking skills from their parents during their early years.

Anyone who knows me knows I love beer and Oreos. Seriously- if only there was a way to have the best of both...

I wouldn't be writing this post if it wasn't a thing.

Virginia-based Veil Brewing Company found a way to combine their chocolate stout with literally HUNDREDS of pounds of Oreo cookies!

Now, who's up for a roadtrip?

This Tuesday January 24th will be the debut of Hornswoggler with Oreos! 😳 That's right. You heard right. We took our 7% robust chocolate milk stout Hornswoggler and conditioned it on hundreds of pounds of Oreo cookies. If you like Oreo cookies, this is a must try. *THERE MAY BE SOME RESIDUAL FERMENTABLE SUGARS FROM THE COOKIES IN THE BEER. WE HIGHLY SUGGEST KEEPING THESE CANS AS COLD AS POSSIBLE AT ALL TIMES. WE ALSO SUGGEST CONSUMING THIS BEER AS FRESH AS POSSIBLE FOR THE MOST INTENSE OREO CHARACTER POSSIBLE.* Shooting for approx 55-80 cases. $17+tax/4-pack. 1x 4-pack per person. *CASES PACKAGED AND LIMITS SUBJECT TO CHANGE* We will also be hiding 5x Golden Tokens(seen in front of the can) underneath the 4-pack holders(only on Hornswoggler cans). Find one of these coins and give it to a staff member behind the bar to get a free Golden Hornswoggler glass(as seen in the picture in this post; the Hornswoggler himself is on the back side of the glass)! This is the ONLY way to get your hands on this glass. We will never sell this glass. It is only acquired if you are the lucky few to find a Golden Token. We hope you guys can make it for Tuesday January 24th's can release. Doors open at 4pm! 🏄🏻

Something was up. Earlier today, The Band Perry scrubbed their social media accounts of all posts and pictures, leaving just black. A couple hours ago, new pictures of the trio were posted wearing punk clothing and a note that a new single and album would be announced tonight.

The post on their twitter page reads as follows...

To our fans —

We've made an album for you. Creating it has been the most exciting thing we've ever done. It's led us to disrupt everything that was comfortable and familiar to us a short year ago. If there's one thing we've learned in making it it's this — being yourself matters. It matters even when not everyone agrees that you should be or understands why it's important that you are.

The album is called My Bad Imagination. It's our very first pop album and tonight the first single track will be out everywhere, it's called Stay In the Dark. Listen loud.

Thank you for your love, your patience and for your trust. Come with us.

'Did you see that firefighter? He's so cute...I was like 'mom, I just got blown up': Boston Marathon bombing survivor who lost her leg is set to marry the man who saved her after her mother played matchmaker

A Boston Marathon bombing survivor who lost a leg in the terror attack is to marry the firefighter who saved her life.
Roseann Sdoia, a Boston native and keen runner who had gone to cheer on people taking part in the city's marathon, had been standing close to where the second bomb exploded at the finishing line of the race in 2013.
After the bombs went off firefighter Mike Materia who she calls her 'guardian angel' used a belt as a make-shift tourniquet for her badly injured leg and held her hand as she was rushed to hospital.
Love blossomed and last month he proposed while the pair were on vacation in Nantucket after he put a special engraved dog tag on their dog Sal, saying 'Mike wants to know... If you'll marry him.'
Roseann said 'Sal means so much to both of us. It couldn't have been more romantic.'

Roseann, 48, told how her mom helped play matchmaker after Mike, 37, visited her in intensive care Boston General Hospital, where she had most of her right leg amputated, in the days after the attack.
'In the hospital, my mom tried to set me up with him,' Roseann said.
'She was like, 'Oh, did you see that firefighter? He's so cute.' And I was like, 'Mom, I just got blown up.'

Mike proposed while the pair were on vacation in Nantucket after he put a special engraved dog tag on their dog Sal, saying 'Mike wants to know... If you'll marry him.'

Roseann was a keen runner and had gone to cheer on people taking part in the city's marathon. She is seen above leaving Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston in May 2013
She said Mike had stayed with her after the blast went off and accompanied her to the hospital.
'I asked him if I was going to die. And he told me that I was going to be OK, that I only had a flesh wound,' she told the Post.
As she undertook rehabilitation, romance blossomed as he was there to support her and even helped her track down a prosthetist to get her a prosthetic leg. They went on their first date in June 2013.
But she admits that she was 'probably not the nicest to him from the get-go'.
She said: 'I was in pain. But now we laugh and blame it on the morphine,' she said.
She added: 'I knew I was starting to have feelings for him because he was so kind and caring,' she said. 'And he has an unbelievable smile.'

As well as planning their nuptials they plan to raise money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation by racing up all 1,576 steps to the top of the Empire State Building in New York. The building shared this post to its Instagram
They now plan to marry later this year in a small and intimate wedding.
But as well as planning their nuptials as well as raising money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
This will both take part in a race to run up all 1,576 steps to the top of the Empire State Building in New York today.
They also have a book in the works called 'Perfect Strangers' about four lives that intersected during the marathon bombing. It is due to be released in March.

Sprint's Super Bowl ad is out . . . and there's a chance it's this year's 'controversial' one.

It's about a dad who's having trouble getting out of his Verizon contract, so he FAKES HIS OWN DEATH . . . in front of his kids.

He takes his teenage daughter and young son out to the edge of a cliff . . . puts a dummy in the driver's seat of the family car . . . and pushes it over. His kids are just standing there watching it, and he says, quote, "Well kids, Daddy's dead."

At one point, the boy asks the dad, "Isn't that illegal?" And a subtitle comes up saying, "Yes, extremely illegal." It's supposed to be funny, but some say this is awfully dark humor for a Super Bowl ad. See what you think...

1. $1.2 billion on beer. Believe it or not, a lot of that will go toward imported beers and craft beers. Only about one-sixth goes toward, quote, "budget" beer.

2. $1.1 billion on wine and liquor. That's $594 million on wine and $503 million on the hard stuff.

3. $500 million on chips. Potato chips are slightly more popular than tortilla chips. And we'll spend another $52 million on dips.

4. $99 million on MEAT SNACKS. This category includes things like pork rinds, beef jerky, cocktail weenies, and pigs in a blanket.

5. $82 million on chicken wings.

6. $71 million on cheese snacks.

7. And $13 million on veggie trays.
