A new study looked at which car colors bring the most money when you resell . . . and which don't.
--Here are the five colors you SHOULD get:
#1.) White: They're hard to keep clean . . . but they sell for 5% more than average on the used-car market.
#2.) Purple: They sell for about 4% more.
#3.) Pink: Unless you sell Mary Kay Cosmetics, you probably don't have a pink car, but they bring 2% more.
#4.) Yellow: About one and a half percent more.
#5.) Grey: About 1% more.
--And here are the five car colors that HURT your resale value the most:
#1.) Maroon: They sell for 5% BELOW average.
#2.) Light Blue: Almost 5% below average.
#3.) Green: 3% less than average.
#4.) Gold: 2% less.
#5.) Dark Blue: 1% less.
