Rogue Ales, a brewery in Newport, Oregon found a new strain of yeast - in some dude's beard. The beard belongs to the face a their brewmaster, John Maier.
The whole thing started as a joke, but turns out, his whiskers contain a unique yeast that's perfect for fermenting beer.
The yeast will be used in their new beer called "New Crustacean". Will you be daring enough to try a glass of beard beer? It should be available in early 2013.
