A mother of three girls in Calgary, Canada went on strike to teach her messy kids a lesson.
Hoping to prove a point and get her kids to clean up after themselves, Jessica Stillwell just stopped cleaning and didn’t say anything about it.
It didn’t take long for the kids to notice that the house was a total disaster.
On day one, dirty plates and clothes piled up around the house.
By day two, things started to stink.
Finally, on day three, her kids began to take notice and Stilwell's 10-year-old daughter Quinn broke down in tears and asked her mom to help clean the house.
The strike was officially over by day six when her girls apologized and finally started cleaning up after themselves.
During Jessica’s cleaning strike she kept a blog to try and keep her sanity while the mess was piling up and it is a great read! Check out Crazy Working Mom
