I was back it again last night and finished up all the corners on my frame! Yeah! Now all that's left is a few more coats of Mod Podge over the whole thing, then sealer, then FINALLY - I can get into that chalkboard paint I've been dying to try out.
Let's get back to the corners. Really, it's just a little measuring and trimming. Pick a strip to use next in line.

Then line up the strip as you would like it to sit and use a pen or pencil to mark the strip where you're going to trim it, along the seam on the corner of the frame.

Then just cut your strip along the marked edge and line it up once more to make sure it sits how you want it.

Then glue it in place. As you can see, there was a little bit of corner still showing, so I just did the same thing with another small strip. Trim it to fit the gap, then glue. You'll also want to cut the very corner strip at a diagonal on the back before you glue the back down.
