Every year, the American Association of State Troopers has a “Best Looking Cruiser” contest where state agencies from across the nation submit pictures of their patrol vehicles in settings that are representative of their state. The Association says says the contest began as a friendly competition between the state agencies and allows community members to interact with law enforcement in a positive manner. Last year Kentucky won the contest, and as of writing this post they have a commanding lead once again.
CLICK HERE to see the cars and vote through July 31. As of Thursday morning, Minnesota is in 20th place with 3,492 votes and North Dakota is in 41st place with 512 votes. Kentucky is far and away the leader with 19,469 votes.
Minnesota State Patrol’s cruiser photo was taken in front of the famous Paul Bunyan statue along State Highway 34 in Akeley, and North Dakota Highway Patrol’s cruiser is stationed in the middle of a blizzard (location within the state unknown… But we have a lot of Blizzards!)
