Science now says that is the perfect time to take a little siesta midday. What’s more is that they say that said nap should last just under an hour- 51 minutes to be exact. Those midday nappers in the study were even found to be more productive the rest of our day (just in case our boss is reading this…)
There is a danger to going over that magical 51 minutes, however- Napping too long triggers a full-fledged sleep session- the REMs, the deep slumber, which can derail the rest of our days.
