The Buckaroo is all grown up. In 2006, Rodney Atkins wrote and recorded “Watching You” ins response to getting a call from his son’s teacher that he was singing Rodney’s previous hit song “If You’re Going Through Hell” in school. 19 years later, Rodney and Elijah teamed up to re-record the song together as “Watching You 2.0” after a TikTok of them singing it went viral.
Now, there’s a few questions. Elijah joined Rodney at CMA Fest last week to perform the song on stage together- will Elijah also be with Rodney at WE Fest? Was this a one-and-done, or will we be hearing more from Elijah on BOB 95?
